“You can’t be what you want to be if you keep looking over your shoulder at what could have been.”
Chloe Sullivan, Smallville
Chloe is probably one of my favorite characters on the show. She’s probably one of the most unique ones as well having not been part of the Superman mythos. Sure, she’s been thrown a few really bad plots over the nine seasons of the show but she’s still awesome like that. She’s incredibly smart and witty. I love her lines on the show. She managed to get herself into some sticky situations as a reporter but also managed to find ways out of them. And wasn’t she awesome when she figured out who the Green Arrow was? Victor and A.C.‘s faces were priceless. In the later seasons, she accepts an offer from Oliver and becomes the eye in the sky for a league of superheroes as Watchtower. She is definitely the brains behind the Justice League Operation having awesome computer skills but she also kicks butt and doesn’t back down in a fight. It’s just all in a days work after all for Watchtower.
Slight deviation, while creating this particular part of my picspam, I realized how pretty Smallville used to be. The colors and scenery were just candy to the eyes. Unfortunately, the later seasons weren't as beautiful which is why this season nine scene was already too pretty for words for me.
Pam, True Blood
Pam is one fierce bitch. Fandom probably cried tears of joy when she was made a series regular this season. I just love her amazing outfits - her pink clothes, the twin sets, her dresses, leather stuff and her hair is fabulous. She also has this tough as nails attitude and can stand up to Eric like nobody else can.
“Status is like currency. When your bank account is full, you can get away with doing just about anything. But right now, we're, like, toxic assets.”
Quinn Fabray, Glee
Unpopular opinion time! Quinn probably isn’t the people’s choice for favorite character on the show but hater float left. Early in the season, Quinn probably fit the part of the stereotypical cheerleader with the jock boyfriend but as the episodes progressed, she became a lot less stereotypical and a lot more relatable I guess. There’s still room for character development but I think she’s pretty much grown during the first season. I loved her scenes in Home, she was amazing in it. She just has a HBIC attitude all the way.
River Song, Doctor Who
“This is my school. If you go here, your parents are either millionaires, or your parents work for millionaires. Neptune, California, a town without a middle class. If you're in the second group, you get a job. Fast food, movie theaters, mini marts. Or you could be me. My after school job means tailing philandering spouses or investigating false injury claims.”
Veronica Mars, Veronica Mars
Veronica is awesomness personified. She’s funny, smart and a totally amazing sleuth. Her detective skills are awesome. She’s like modern day Nancy Drew or the Hardy Boys, depending on which you prefer. She solves cases like whoa and doesn’t give up so easily, even going undercover, like in this awesome Veronica goes to the FBI trailer. No thanks CW for canceling one of the coolest shows the 2000s has ever seen.
yay! all done.
